In his newest album, Cubworld declares “Life is Music.” For him, singing, playing, writing and creating is a way of life. Jacob Kongaika, also known as Cubworld, was the first American to win a recording contract through the pioneering website Sellaband.com. Through the support of hundreds of world-wide fans, he recorded his first album, “Step Lightly, Create Out Loud” in the Tony Bennet Studios, which was then mastered by Sony Music Studios.
During his career Cubworld has shared his sound around the world, including England, the Netherlands, Japan, Korea and Hawaii. Three of his separate tours to Amsterdam included sell-out crowds at the famed rock-music venue, the Paradiso. Cubworld has also made television appearances on talk shows in both Hawaii, Utah and the Netherlands.
Cubworld has a style all his own. He sings fresh and original music in a soulful style influenced by artists like Coldplay and Jack Johnson. His new album, Life Is Music, does not disappoint. It is balanced with a variety of styles and sounds that will entertain any crowd. They will enjoy Cubworld’s fun, youthful, easy-going personality that comes through in every performance.
